Today is National Cancer Survivor’s Day

No One Fights Alone!

CC in a collage of #StrongArmSelfie poses. The Main is her in a Relentless Champions of Hope shirt from Fight CRC, her back to us with both arms up in a strong arm selfie pose in front of the Spanish Peaks of Colorado, which look like her biceps in the post. A National Cancer Survivor Day sign is in the bottom right corner along with other selfies throughout the year.
My various #StrongArmSelfie poses from the last year!

This is my second National Cancer Survivor’s Day and the first where I am in remission! Sending love and hope to all #CancerSurvivors today! ❤️ 💪 🌈

Please take a moment to touch base with and celebrate the people in your life today who have survived #cancer and who are thriving beyond it, with it or in spite of it! Give them all the love and virtual hugs you can! Your love makes a difference more than you know.

No One Fights Alone!

“National Cancer Survivors Day is an annual, treasured Celebration of Life that is held in hundreds of communities nationwide, and around the world, on the first Sunday in June.

On this day, people across the globe unite to honor cancer survivors and to show the world that life after a cancer diagnosis can be beautiful, meaningful, and triumphant. NCSD offers an opportunity for all people living with a history of cancer — including the more than 18 million cancer survivors living in the U.S. — to connect with each other, celebrate milestones, and recognize those who have supported them along the way.

It is also a day to draw attention to the ongoing challenges of cancer survivorship, with the aim of promoting more resources, research, and legislation to improve cancer survivors’ quality of life.” ncsd.org
