Soul, Sass & Badass​

 

When CC got diagnosed in November 2021, we gave a half-arsed go at retiring. After she kicked cancer's ass, we found the clients and to-do lists stacking up once again. 🤦‍♀️ What can we say? Healthcare before 65 when you're self-employed is expensive, and we have some badly engrained "work" habits that need to change. So, after her most recent round of surveillance scans we thought, if we hadn't received good news (we did), we would be saying a whole lot of "NO!" So, "WTF are we doing?!"

 

Well for starters, we should only be doing things that bring us joy in some way - whether it's traveling in our RV Van #NoDickVanDyke, hiking our beautiful state of Colorado and beyond, Doc playing the guitar, CC advocating for colorectal cancer survivors, both of us advocating for the LGBTQ+ community and doing "soul work" (a new side to us you may not know about), or just BE-ing! Join us as we continue to figure out exactly what that means in our world! ​

P.S. As were many of you, we were thrown a curve ball at the start of 2025 when the world tilted on it's axis, politically. We don't know about you, but navigating this new landscape brings with it a whole new set of challenges and WTF's. If that's you too: We see you, we feel you, we ARE you! Currently we are adopting the "Survivor" mantra of outwit, outplay and outlast! What does that mean? Hell if we know! We're taking things day by day and hour by hour, and just trying to stay healthy and sane through it all. If you are trying to do the same, we hope that something on this site or in our social media will help! Maybe a little Soul Work, perhaps?

We are all in this together, even if it doesn't feel like it sometimes!
